Helen graduated from Bristol University in 1987. During her studies she won the prestigious Stafford Miller prize for Periodontology (gum disease). In 2015 she was also awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Studies with merit from the University of Bristol. This allowed her to develop an evidence-based approach to a wide range of treatments and techniques in order to offer the best outcomes for her patients. Helen has over 35 years of experience in general dental practice and additionally works as the Chairperson of the Fitness-to-Practise panel at the dental professional’s regulator for the U.K.

Helen takes pride in being a capable, caring and ethical dentist who values the trusting relationships she builds with patients. She has a firm belief that a focus on prevention is the key to maintaining a healthy mouth for life and strives to support and facilitate her patients in achieving this goal at every opportunity.

In her free time, Helen indulges her passion for plants and has run an organic allotment for the last 6 years.
